Singapore with Bean...

Each day with packed full of activities and adventures to keep Bean busy! Day 1 was spent at the S.E.A. Aquarium and the Trick Eye Museum. Day 2 at Universal Studios and our on our last full day in Singapore, we visited the zoo and got pretty close with the animals!

I'm a big fan of traveling with kids as I believe that the experience helps them learn things that can only be taught through meeting new people and seeing new things. Looking through his passport the other day, I realized that in 2 years, Bean has flown a dozen round-trip flights! He will now happily sit in his seat and watch his shows while munching on raisins for a couple hours so that makes flying with him a lot easier! Admittedly, there have been a few flights where I was desperately checking the time in hope that we would sooner touch down, but the good flights outweigh the bad ones and aren't enough to make us leave him at home!

Nylon Japan It Girl and more from Tokyo...

Wearing shilk shirt from Equipment, Frame Denim jeans, socks I picked up in Harajuku and Juju Jellies with Illesteva sunglasses and Hermes Birkin

I always love visiting Tokyo. Having been there more than a dozen times now, I always find somewhere new to visit and something new to try and eat! I was treated to the most amazing wagyu beef the other night and I swear I have never had such good beef in my life! Alan and I love staying at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo but didn't have time to have even a cocktail at their elegant jazz and cigar bar this trip because we were so busy running around the city! They are extremely well located (5 mins from Tokyo Station!) and everyone there knows who you are after just a day and greet you by name.

On my last day in Tokyo, we made a trip to Aoyama/Shibuya area and visited this cute little vintage store named Laila Vintage ( where they stock the most amazing selection of 60s and 70s designer vintage I've seen in Tokyo so far. They had an array of floral printed dresses from British brand, Clobber as well as Alaia, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent etc. I fell in love with a floral babydoll YSL dress but couldn't justify the 90,000 yen so left with a Ferragamo silk shirt that will surely be making its appearance on my Instagram (CashmereandCandy) very soon!

A special shoutout and thank you to Nylon Japan for giving me a little feature in your "It Girl 2014" section! As a mom, the idea of being considered even a girl anymore is good enough and to be alongside some of the coolest cats in Asia?! That's just mindblowingly flattering. I couldn't resist picking up a copy and grabbing a photo at one of the busiest and therefore more 'Tokyo' cross-walks! I got quite a few odd looks and maybe tripped over a business man or two, but it was totally worth it!

Nylon Japan's September is out now!

pitti uomo 86 day 2...

Wearing Melissa Bui FW14 skirt, Zara shirt, Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels, Chanel bag and CĂ©line sunglasses

Images by Darrel (

We skipped Day 1 of Pitti this time and arrived in Florence from Milan the night before Day 2. It was such an easy choice to pick this skirt, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted to wear it with a crop top or a shirt. The unseasonably cool weather that day made the shirt the obvious choice.

Firenze so far...

Wearing crop top and Mom denim shorts from Topshop and new hat from random Florentine street stall.

...has been perfect! The sun is scorchingly hot and the only way to stay cool is eat a ton of gelato and luckily, there is no shortage of gelaterias around town! Heading to T+Jo's wedding at a castle tonight, followed by a few days in Chianti. I can't wait!
